CollegeFocus (CF) was started back in 2000 to help college students, parents, and prospective college students in all things college. So whether students needed help in finding cheap textbooks, financial aid, scholarships, housing tips, or anything related to college CF would be the answer. CollegeFocus has gone through many iterations over the years, looks, and even owners, but it has always remained focused on the following:
- Saving college students money
- Preparing everyone for college
- Educating parents
- Educating pre, during, and post college to help students get the most from their educational options
